Day O

Today I opened a blog with the sole intention of chronicling the blessings the Lord will give me everyday for the next 365 days. The ojective is to remind myself and possibly a few of my readers, how blessed we all are. At the end of the year, 365 days from today, I'd want to have taken on a fresh and more positive perspective to life. A perspective that focuses on what's important to God, not the world. A perspective that finds the true beauty of living, not merely going through the motions year after year.

I will do this by really taking the time to stop and appreciate every little thing God has given me in my life, wherever I am and in whatever role I play, in the good times and in the bad. And I will chronicle them here every single day. Some days I may post about a blessing that happened in the last 24 hours and some days I may post a blessing 10 years ago that I've just realized I was given. It doesn't matter. This is about the Lord's faithfulness to us and I'm here to prove it (to myself and hopefully to some of you).

He brought us into this world and He has our backs. If only we believe.

I ask you to join me on this journey to encourage me when trials come, to celebrate God's blessings with me, and to hope with me that before the 365 days are up we will be living a happier life even if nothing but our perspective changes.
