Day 14

Ok folks we're two whole weeks into this and I must say it is more challenging than it looks! But of course I will try my best to get 351 more entries in before 2008 rolls in. I just found out the the blogging via email service is busted so I have one less way to get you a post. But anyway...:)

1. Visited my friends at their place and taught them "honoring". Today we taught the concept of honoring to our friends on the inside. Honoring is basicall saying nice things to other as your way of appreciating them. We usually have this on birthdays so we gathered all the birhtday celebrants of December and January and tried it out. For guys who have been through a lot, saying nice things about others might not really come as second nature to them but they took to it really quick and I think they even enjoyed the experience. It was a sight to see.

2. Nice weather.
My sunday mornings are usually spent outdoors and it usually am out in the hot sun at the wost times. Today was overcast and the breeze was cool. Perfect weather to be out! :)

3. Got a haricut (finally). I was so happy to find the time to get a haircut. It was so relaxing that I fell asleep. Call me spoiled but I love getting my hair washed by someone else-- I love the scrubbing, the scratching, the cold water... I can go on and on. Oh and the haircut wasn't a disaster so its all good :)

4. Had a good time with my brother. We spent the day talking about stuff, we attended a really nice mass in a really nice chapel listening to a homily that was simple and easy to understand, we had sausage for dinner, and we saw a movie. Pretty nice way to end the night. If my brother had a blog like this he'd be thankful for the girl who was in the seat beside his :)
